Minor League…

“You could be a kid for as long as you want when you play baseball.”
Cal Ripken, Jr.

One of our travel goals is to visit every major league park in the Country. We couldn’t wait for the season to start so we headed down to Clermont and stayed at the Thousand Trails Orlando. Super resort!! Spacious sites and easy check in process.

We met up with friends that were Wintering in Florida from the Newmar Club. Enjoyed dinners out and Disney Springs.

March 5th—  We headed over to Disney and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex where the Braves Spring training games are held. The stadium was great and very modern. I was disappoint to learn later that the Braves maybe leaving the stadium to move closer to Tampa.  We saw the Braves beat the Pirates in a close game. It was a beautiful day!

March 7th— We drove over to Lakeland Florida to see the Tigers Spring training to see them play the Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays won the day and it was fun sitting in the same section as the snowbirds from Canada.

And yes, we are St Louis Cardinals fans!

Until the next Journey…
